Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Human Resource to lead and oversee the company’s full spectrum of HR functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing HR strategies, managing talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, training & development, and ensuring compliance with Singapore employment regulations. The Head of HR will play a key role in building a positive workplace culture, supporting business growth, and strengthening employee engagement across the organization.
Responsibilities
Lead and execute comprehensive Human Resource functions to align with company goals and drive organizational success
Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and promote best practices
Plan and manage recruitment, onboarding, manpower forecasting, and talent retention to meet workforce needs
Resolve employee relations issues, disciplinary cases, grievances, and conflicts with professionalism and fairness
Ensure strict adherence to Singapore MOM regulations and employment laws through regular compliance monitoring
Oversee performance management cycles, conduct employee evaluations, and facilitate career development programs
Design and coordinate employee engagement initiatives and culture-building activities to enhance workplace morale
Manage payroll processes, compensation and benefits administration, and HR budgeting with accuracy and efficiency
Identify training needs and organize targeted learning and development programs to upskill employees
Advise senior management on HR strategies, organizational design, and workforce planning to support business objectives
Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, reports, and employee information in compliance with data protection standards
Support leadership development and productivity improvement efforts to foster organizational growth
Required Competencies And Certifications
Strong knowledge of Singapore Employment Act, MOM regulations, and HR best practices
Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations
Ability to handle confidential matters with professionalism and integrity
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Preferred Competencies And Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role
Experience in construction, engineering, or related industries
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR management systems
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
