HR Officer

About the Role JBS Riverina is currently seeking a proactive self-starter to join the People & Culture team as our trusted HR Officer. Reporting to the Plant HR Manager, you will partner closely with operational leaders to support the day-to-day people requirements of a busy processing facility. Your responsibilities will span workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, attendance management, RTW coordination as well as HR compliance, ensuring the site is effectively resourced and supported to achieve its operational objectives. Working closely with managers and employees, you will provide practical HR advice and guidance on a broad range of people matters while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment legislation. You will also assist with investigations, maintain accurate employee records, contribute to HR reporting and coordinate a range of administrative processes that support the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy building strong relationships across all levels of the business, and be passionate about supporting both people and operational outcomes. About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Strong administration, organisation and processing skills Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Well-developed investigation, problem-solving and report-writing abilities Exceptional time management skills with strong attention to detail The ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines A proactive approach, taking ownership of tasks and seeing projects through to completion Previous experience in a Human Resources or related administrative role Experience within a manufacturing environment highly regarded, but not essential Why Join JBS?
