We believe work should be meaningful and fun —so if you're ready to make a difference while enjoying the journey, come join us and let's Tango! Tango is looking for a full-time, on-site HR Specialist to join our team at our corporate headquarters in Coppell, TX. About the Role In this role, you will be the go-to person handling the day-to-day details that keep our HR department running smoothly. You'll spend your time onboarding new hires, managing benefits updates, and keeping our Rippling system completely accurate. We are a stable company with a lean team, so we’re looking for someone who genuinely loves putting their head down, mastering their day-to-day work, and building deep expertise in their seat. If you take pride in being a reliable anchor for a team and prefer long-term stability over a fast-tracked corporate ladder, you will find a great home here. What You'll Do Daily HR & Rippling Data Entry Keep Rippling Accurate: Quickly type in and update everyday team changes in Rippling, like new addresses, job titles, and team member files, ensuring everything is perfectly correct. Run Onboarding & Offboarding: Handle the paperwork loops for welcoming new hires and offboarding departing team members, including running I-9 verifications and organizing exit steps. Track Time Off & Leaves: Monitor and log team member attendance patterns, tracking standard time-off requests as well as formal leaves of absence to keep company records accurate. Help Our Team: Act as the friendly first point of contact for team members and managers when they have basic questions about company policies, general rules, or how to log time off. Pull Reports: Pull reports out of Rippling when needed, like current headcount numbers or benefits sign-up lists. Benefits Administration & Annual Audits Manage Sign-Ups: Handle the daily enrollments and changes for our medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k) retirement plans. Process Life Changes: Update the system when team members experience major life events (like getting married or having a baby) so their pay deductions match up perfectly. Help with Open Enrollment: Give our team a hand during our annual benefits open enrollment season by handing out materials, answering common questions, and double-checking data. Run Routine Audits: Organically organize and manage our regular HR compliance data reviews, directly supporting standard year-end audits for Workers' Compensation and our 401(k) structures. Payroll Backup: Serve as our backup if our primary payroll person is out sick or on vacation. About You Required Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience working in an office support or HR administrative role. Rippling Knowledge: Having real experience working inside Rippling is strongly preferred so you can jump right in, though we will train the right organized professional who learns systems quickly. Work Style: You are exceptionally organized and find genuine satisfaction in putting your head down, focusing, and efficiently knocking out a large daily checklist of tasks. Discretion: You have excellent judgment and know how to keep private team member data and salary details strictly confidential. Preferred Education: A Bachelor's degree in HR or Business, or equivalent real-world office experience. What We Offer We're committed to creating an environment where you can thrive—professionally and personally. Our offerings include: Competitive Compensation We recognize and reward your contributions with a salary package that reflects your value. Comprehensive Benefits Including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, and generous paid time off to support your well-being. Flexible Work Environment Whether remote, hybrid, or in-office, we support work arrangements that promote productivity and balance. Inclusive & Collaborative Culture We foster a workplace where diverse perspectives are valued, teamwork is encouraged, and everyone has a voice. Tango is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to equal opportunity regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, parental status, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, disability, or veteran status.
