Job description

FLINT is seeking an HSE Lead with industrial experience for a temporary job in Taylor, BC starting ASAP. In this position, you will enjoy a continuous schedule, 12-hour workdays, LOA of $185/day, travel pay, and benefits after 300+ hours worked. What would you be doing? Promote health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices among employees and subcontractors. Provide technical expertise and support for HSE training and development. Assist management with incident investigations and reporting. Ensure cause and corrective actions are implemented. Advise on compliance related to OHS and company standards. Minimum 10 years’ experience in oil and gas, turnaround experience preferred. Education in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field as well as specialized certifications and Journeyperson certificates are considered assets. Certification as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and/or Occupational Health and Safety Certificate (OHS) preferred. Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements: H2S Alive Confined Space Entry Common Safety Orientation (CSO) Fall Protection Standard First Aid WHMIS Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions. Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required. Must have own reliable transportation to site. Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits. This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing. Hourly rate for an employee is $60.
