CANDIDATE PROFILE Preferred Education and Experience High school diploma or GED; 2 years’ experience as supervisor level, OR Degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years’ experience in the human resources as supervisor level, management operations, or related professional area. Required Qualifications Proficiency in reading, writing English (additional language required for certain positions) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS system Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Experience in visa and work permit processing is advantageous Willing To: Work in contact with the general public using strong communication and customer service skills Demonstrate openness to adapt to different cultural contexts based on location Willing to be flexible across shifts as required by business needs JOB SPECIFIC TASKS Recruitment & Onboarding Monitor all hiring and recruitment processes for compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and company policies and standards. Assist management in screening resumes, conducting interviews and selecting new hourly hires using selection tools and systems. Assist employees with internal and external transfer requests and procedures. Monitor and assist managers/supervisors with hiring processes and issues. Coordinate and conduct applicants, reference checks, and social security number verification in accordance with company procedures. Maintain applicant flow, orientation and transfer request logs. Communicate to all applicants receiving a job offer the necessary documentation required to bring on first day of employment. Create and maintain new hire files and enter them into Workday. Create new employee personnel file. Assist with orientation of new employees. Train new hires on Human Resources processes, programs, policies, information systems, etc. Support visa and work permit documentation and application for expatriate employees, where applicable. Compensation & Benefits Administer employee benefits programs, including insurance, provident fund, wellness programs, and other related programs, where applicable Support processing and maintenance of payroll records in accordance with policies and procedures, as necessary. Administration Maintain confidentiality and security of employee and property records, files, and information. Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files (e.g., interview documents, reference checks, department orientation check list). Answer phone calls and record messages. Create and maintain filing through Human Resources Information Systems and documentation as needed. Generate Human Resources data reports as required or as requested. Serve as Human Resources subject matter expert and participate on project teams. Support Human Resources audits and documentation requirements. Communications and Relations Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company and Human Resources programs, policies and guidelines. Inform Human Resources management of issues related to employee relations within the division or property. Post all necessary legal or regulatory notices related to Human Resources in view of all employees as required by law. Assist and support management and the leadership team with handling and resolving Human Resources issues. Policies and Procedures Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information. Follow company and department policies and procedures. Protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers. Ensure uniform, nametags, and personal appearance are clean, hygienic, professional and in compliance with company policies and procedures. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. Communication Talk with and listen to other employees to effectively exchange information. Speak to guests and co-workers using clear, appropriate and professional language. Discuss work topics, activities, or problems with coworkers, supervisors, or managers discreetly and quietly, avoiding public areas of the property. Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette including answering the phone within 3 rings, answering with a smile in one's voice, using the callers' name, transferring calls to appropriate person/department, requesting permission before placing the caller on hold, taking and relaying messages, and allowing the caller to end the call. Prepare and review written documents (e.g., daily logs, business letters, memoranda, reports), including proofreading and editing written information to ensure accuracy and completeness. Working with Others Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect. Handle sensitive issues with employees and/or guests with tact, respect, diplomacy, and confidentiality. Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments. Actively listen to and consider the concerns of other employees, responding appropriately and effectively. Partner with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork and achieve common goals.
