Indigenous Class 1 and Class 3 Drivers | $65,000 to $125,000 | Grande Prairie Grande Prairie, AB | Full Time First Nations, Métis and Inuit drivers | Entry level welcome | On-call rotations Hiring now. You already hold the licence, and three energy employers around Grande Prairie need drivers who have it. One of them trains you from zero oilfield experience. Every seat is full time on the employer's payroll at their regular wage, and GrizzlyTrek stays in your corner the whole way. At a Glance Who This Is For: First Nations, Métis and Inuit drivers who hold a Class 1 or Class 3 and live in Alberta or are ready to work here Position Type: Full time. Hired directly by the employer, onto their payroll, at their regular wage. Location: Grande Prairie, AB (one employer hires from anywhere in Alberta, with crew housing) Pay: $65,000 to $125,000 a year, salary plus job bonuses (employer estimates, not guaranteed). Each job below lists its own numbers. GrizzlyTrek Support: Mentorship through the whole placement, up to 12 months. No cost to you, ever. The Jobs for Grande Prairie Drivers Well Servicing Crew, Grande Prairie: Slickline, E-Line and Pumping Operators (Class 3 and Class 1) Openings: Slickline Operator (2) and E-Line Operator (2) on a Class 3. Pumping Operator (1) on a Class 1. Entry level. Experience: None required. They train you. Pay: About $70,000 typical first-year total, base salary plus field bonus (employer estimate, not guaranteed). Location: Live in or near Grande Prairie and be able to reach the shop on short notice while on call. No relocation or housing support, except camp or hotel on nights sent out of town. Rotation: 15 days on (on call 24 hours), 6 days off. Rig up and rig out is physically demanding. Benefits: Company-paid health and dental, RRSP match after 1 year, Employee Assistance Program, 2 weeks vacation to start. Cementing Yard, Grande Prairie: Bulk Driver 2 and Operator 2 (Class 1) Licence: Class 1, manual transmission (no automatic-only restriction). Experience: 1 year of driving preferred, not required. Pay: Bulk Driver 2: $75,000 to $110,000 a year. Operator 2: $80,000 to $140,000 a year. Salary plus job bonuses; actual earnings depend on job volume and competency level (employer estimate, not guaranteed). Rotation: 15 days on (on call the full 15), 6 days off. Pressure Pumping Crew, Grande Prairie North: 5 Class 1 Seats Work: Coil tubing, fracing and pressure pumping. Licence: Class 1. A MELT-only licence does not qualify (insurance). Experience: 3 years of documented Class 1 driving (firm). Off-road, lease-road, construction or heavy-industry driving is a big plus. Oilfield experience preferred, not required. Pay: In writing from the employer: $40 an hour driving a Class 1 unit, $32 to $36 an hour on field work depending on experience, some shop or travel hours at $20 an hour. Housing: Class 1 drivers from anywhere in Alberta can apply. Crew housing when you are out of town. Rotation: Confirmed before any offer. Benefits: Start after 3 months. RRSP matching after 6 months.
