Read more about other benefits and perks HERE ! What we do: GroupeSTAHL is a leading international manufacturer, distributor and direct supplier in the field of custom textile printing. What you'll be doing: The Industrial Engineer is a corporate-level role supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence across Stahls' manufacturing, fulfillment and decoration facilities. This role partners with facility and operations leadership to standardize methods, improve throughput, reduce waste, and build the data and capacity models that inform staffing, layout, and capital equipment decisions. The Industrial Engineer works across multiple sites rather than being dedicated to a single facility, and travels as needed to support projects at each location. Conduct time studies, line balancing, and standard work development at any Stahls' facility to establish and maintain accurate labor standards Analyze workflow, material flow, and floor layout, and recommend changes that reduce handling, travel distance, and cycle time Lead root-cause analysis on scrap, rework, and quality escapes, and drive corrective actions in partnership with facility quality and production teams Build and maintain capacity models by facility, cell, and line to support S&OP, staffing decisions, and new-program onboarding Support capital equipment justifications with throughput, labor, and payback analysis, partnering with operations leadership on CAPEX cases Design and validate new production cells, workstations, and process flows for new equipment installs or facility changes Apply lean and continuous improvement methods (5S, kaizen, value stream mapping) and lead cross-facility CI events Standardize best practices and work instructions across facilities so gains at one site transfer to others Partner with facility managers, supervisors, and operations leadership to translate engineering recommendations into sustained shop-floor changes Track and report productivity, efficiency, and waste-reduction metrics, and flag facilities or lines falling outside targets REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field 3+ years of industrial engineering experience in manufacturing, apparel decoration, print, or similar production environment Demonstrated experience with time studies, standard work, line balancing, and process/layout design Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods Comfortable reading and building capacity, throughput, and labor-cost models in Excel Strong communication skills, with the ability to work directly with plant managers, supervisors, and production teams across multiple sites Willingness and ability to travel regularly between North American facilities. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification Familiarity with ERP/MES systems and order-management data (e.g., experience working with production and shipment data) Experience supporting new equipment installs or facility layout changes from concept through startup Experience building CAPEX/ROI justification models for capital equipment purchases Prior experience operating across multiple sites or a multi-facility manufacturing network WORK ENVIRONMENT, TRAVEL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This role splits time between office/analysis work and the manufacturing floor and requires regular travel among Stahls' North American facilities. Requires the ability to walk a production floor for extended periods, work around industrial equipment, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
