In 2024, we made a significant investment in our talent by increasing base salary remuneration by over 29%, ensuring we remain competitive and continue to offer outstanding employee benefits .​ We are seeking am enthusiastic university student intern to join our Sales team Key Accountabilities Support the Sales team with client research, account mapping, and preparation of sales collateral/presentations Assist in coordinating site inspections, client entertainment, and familiarization trips Help maintain and update the CRM/account database, including contact details, contracts, and rate agreements Compile and prepare sales reports, production trackers, and competitor rate/benchmark analysis Assist with follow-up on leads, RFPs, and proposals under the guidance of Sales Managers Support administrative tasks such as scheduling client appointments, filing contracts, and organizing sales trip logistics Attend sales calls, trade shows, or client meetings as assigned, taking notes and assisting with follow-ups Assist the Events team in planning and coordinating weddings, banquets, conferences, and social events Support preparation of event proposals, floor plans, timelines, and banquet event orders (BEOs) Liaise with internal departments (F&B, Kitchen, Engineering, AV) to ensure smooth event execution Requirements Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field. Based in Tokyo, with right to work Ability to commit 6 months internship with 2-3 times per week Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting with clients and internal stakeholders Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with CRM systems is a plus Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks with deadlines Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work well in a team environment Fluent in English; Japanese language skills an advantage The Peninsula Tokyo​ Perfectly located opposite the Imperial Palace and just minutes from the shopping capital of Ginza, The Peninsula Tokyo offers guests breathtaking views of the city’s iconic skyline.
