Our values include family, integrity, honesty, growth, and fun.Job SummaryThe Investment Planning Analyst is responsible for maintaining client portfolios, and for developing financial plans for clients using our PX software. This role focuses on managing existing accounts & investment models.  We focus on optimizing the relationship between Risk and Return within the client’s risk tolerance. Associates will excel in this role through multi-tasking, demonstrating an understanding of portfolio theory and asset allocation, and expressing curiosity about investments, the economy, and financial planning.Key ResponsibilitiesCase PrepEach of the below will need to be learned and mastered as quickly as possible – note that Illustrations and PXs are created via proprietary softwareIllustrationsYCharts comparisons (YCharts is an online investment analysis website, similar to Morningstar)Creating PX plans, updating existing PX plans, editing PX plansAnalysisMeeting with wholesalers, investigate and research investments and portfolio ideasIntermittently evaluate portfolio models and potential changesBe cognizant of funds we could employ in the futureRead articles sent via email from fund managers, on YCharts, etc.TradingMonitor exceptions/violations, particularly in taxable accountsSell to raise cash at regular intervalsRecommending buys in individual/JT/529 accountsMaster EnV2 (our advisory trading program) - Become expert in ‘block’ trading our investment modelsClient Service and Relationship ManagementServe as the principal contact for client relationshipsMakes critical client decisions such as creating, preparing, reviewing, and presenting financial plansResponsible for the quality control of client deliverables such as plans, analysis and presentationsCommunicates proactively and consistently with clients to identify changes in their financial lives and needs that should be metManage client appointments and cancellations; reserve conference rooms for in-person meetingsPrefill and submit paperwork for new and existing business, process, and track account requestsMaintains high level of professional expertise and continues to learn new processes, theories, and best practices to service clientsBusiness DevelopmentLeverage key marketing resources and tools provided to the firmEngages existing database to deepen relationshipsResponsible for actively finding new client relationshipsDevelops specialized knowledge that fits within the strategy of our firmJob QualificationsSeries 7 licensed preferred; able to contract as an Associate Wealth Management Advisor within a yearAbility to commute to job location in Chesterfield, MO dailyDemonstrate patience, open-mindedness, reliability, and dependabilityProfessional level understanding of life insurance, investments, portfoliosTechnologically savvy, with the ability to learn new technology early and oftenFlexible and adaptable to the varying needs of the practiceCollaborative, with the ability to work well with others on a teamBenefits Health, vision, and dental insuranceSIMPLE IRA retirement planPTO + holiday payBase salary proportionate to experience levelIndustry licensing and continuing education expensesPersonal and professional development opportunities, including pursuit of industry credentials such as CFP
