Company: Marsh Description: We are seeking a talented individual to join our Investment Business. Marsh People & Investments has an established European presence, serving a range of clients across Pension Funds, Insurers, Wealth Managers, Banks and Family Offices as well as Not-for Profit organisations. The core services delivered by this team include investment consulting, OCIO/Investment Solutions and actuarial services. Reporting to the Head of Investment Sales, Europe, the Sales Leader will be expected to assess market demand and identify business opportunities, set strategic direction, align the business structure, inspire and engage colleagues, and deliver strong financial results. We will count on you to : Develop and execute a sales growth strategy in alignment with Marsh & People Investments' regional strategies and goals. Deliver on our ambitious growth plans to deliver sustained profitable growth for our investments and overall Investment & Retirement business in Belgium and Luxembourg and achieve our annual budgeted revenue and NOI commitments. Ensure best practice business development activities including client identification, opportunity origination and solution design. Ensure that Marsh People & investments maintains a strong and effective risk management structure and culture, anticipating the needs of clients, regulators and Marsh. Drive business development activity to position us as the leading and preferred investment solutions provider in the region. Lead and co-ordinate key sales initiatives that improve the effectiveness of commercial activity across internal and external distribution channels and segments. Accelerate our high growth solutions such as OCIO and Alternatives and progress our strategic focus to expand our services across large asset owners in the region. Successfully execute on a direct pipeline of sales activity. Leverage the intersections across the Marsh organization to accelerate commercial activity focused on growing AUM. Lead expansion and prospecting activities across the region, consistent with Marsh People & Investments' commercial disciplines and best practice; enable and support the risk-controlled growth of the business aligned with regulatory requirements. What you need to have : A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics or other business-related areas.At least 10 years’ total sales experience with a clear track record of delivering superior sales results. Demonstrable track record of raising assets and growing revenue with institutional clients across Pensions, Insurance, Wealth Managers, Family Offices, SWFs, Not-for-Profits. Deep understanding of institutional client needs, investment objectives and buy reasons. Firm grasp of the underlying investment, operational and regulatory issues that determine institutional clients’ investment and business decision-making. Commercial awareness and confidence to effectively orchestrate other teams and specialist groups to achieve positive business outcomes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex issues. Exceptional communication skills and people leadership qualities including the ability to lead with influence, in the absence of formal authority.
