Java Software Engineer (Spring, AWS)

​​​​​​Perform hands-on coding and code review as other peer developers as needed Understand the requirements of the customer or business and utilize this knowledge to develop applications that are consistent with this Develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based backend services using Spring Boot and microservices architecture Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with AWS cloud services (e.g., ECS, Lambda, SQS, RDS, or similar) as required by the project Maintain applications across development, staging, and production environments using AWS services and CI/CD pipelines Participate in Agile/Scrum activities: daily standup, demo session, retrospective, estimate, and planning, etc General requirements: Intermediate English communication (able to work with international clients with support) Likely having 3+ years of experience depending on how fast of your learning and developing technical capability Ability to self-learn and adapt to new technologies quickly Technical requirements: Strong understanding of object-oriented programming ( OOP ) principles. Strong experience with JAVA web-based technologies: Spring (Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Boot) and ORM (JPA, Hibernate) Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices . Hands-on experience working with AWS cloud services. Familiarity with Git and modern software development practices. Nice to have: Experience with GitHub Actions or other CI/CD tools. Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
