Job description

Location: Remote Junior Chamber International (JCI), Inc. is seeking a Partnerships Manager-Institutional Partners. The Partnerships Manager serves as a point of contact for JCI partners and as a project manager for JCI partnership initiatives with external organizations, as assigned by the Partnerships Director. The Partnerships Manager is responsible for leading the organization in developing and maintaining relationships with corporate and institutional partners to further the JCI mission, working alongside the Partnerships Director and internal JCI teams to drive new and existing opportunities that benefit JCI members and yield brand awareness, membership growth/retention, and financial sustainability. The Partnerships Manager serves at the direction of, reports to, and is directly responsible to the Partnership Director. Key Responsibilities Serves as project manager for JCI partnership initiatives with external organizations, as assigned by the Partnership Director Identify and shape partnership opportunities and priorities Follow up on all partnership agreements and manage partner relationships Draft corporate and institutional partner presentations Draft proposals for Memorandum of Understanding and sponsorship contracts Draft reports and action plans for partnership development Draft post-event reports for partner activities and present results Draft and propose a yearly partnership activations agenda Maintain all historical information about partnerships and update in the shared workspace Identify and contact potential corporate and institutional partners as assigned by the Partnerships Director Work closely with the Partnerships Director, National and Local JCI Organizations, to achieve yearly targets Act as JCI’s point of contact for external partners (as assigned by the Partnerships Director) Proactively grow and strengthen relationships with both new and existing partners Work alongside JCI internal teams, particularly Marketing, Events, Skills & Development, and Growth & Development, to drive new and existing partnership opportunities that benefit JCI members Organize partner events, workshops, speaking roles, and other partner activities during JCI events Attend events such as World Congress, Area Conferences, and other JCI events as necessary Represent JCI at relevant partnership events (as assigned by the Partnerships Director) and present reports on events to the Partnership Director Job Specific Competencies Ability to combine flexibility and creativity to problem solve Demonstrates proficiency in research, review, marketing, and project management Knowledge in strategy and project development Knowledge of stakeholder relationship management strategies Proven ability to maintain successful relationships with external partners Demonstrates strong self-management skills and consistently meets deadlines without the need for supervision. Proactively communicates project progress and ensures stakeholders remain well-informed. Ability to work independently but also operate efficiently and effectively within a collaborative team environment. Additional Desired Qualifications International experience Enthusiasm for entrepreneurship, sales, and marketing Experience writing in English for non-native speakers, if applicable English, Spanish, French, and Japanese are the working languages of JCI. Speaking and writing fluently in English is required, and knowledge of other working languages of JCI is a plus.
