This role combines expert hands-on installation with leadership in supporting apprentices and contributing to job-site efficiency. The ideal candidate is proficient in interpreting blueprints, installing electrical systems per NEC standards, and maintaining safety and quality on site Responsibilities: - Work on and around high voltage energized and general electrical equipment. - Install various types of electrical conduit systems according to NEC standards. - Cut, bend, and run conduit as specified on blueprints. - Set up and maintain temporary power systems. - Install and maintain grounding systems for all equipment and structures. - Install junction boxes, panels, switches, plugs, and fixtures. - Terminate wires and cables to electrical equipment, including breakers, control panels, and distribution systems, with technical understanding and quality craftsmanship. - Test electrical components for continuity and proper voltage readings per specifications. - Build out electrical services and demonstrate knowledge in service applications. - Communicate and work under the direction of a Supervisor/Foreman (Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician). - Able to work well under pressure, especially when facing tight timelines, unexpected delays, or urgent tasks. - Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills. - Reliable, accountable, and consistent in performing assigned tasks. - Safety-conscious and able to follow all instructed safety regulations. - Detail-oriented and results-driven. - Knowledgeable in the use of electrical tools and equipment. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage administrative functions. - Ambitious with a desire to grow within the company. - Familiarity with CenterPoint standards preferred.
