Jr. Civil Engineer/ Analyst

Job Description Overview AtkinsRéalis is one of Canada's largest private-sector nuclear engineering groups. Your role Perform engineering design activities and design reviews as required for assigned design changes. Prepare engineering design calculations for the repair and reinforcement of structural systems involving steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry, and prepare associated design documentation. Provide technical guidance to resolve structural issues and interpret design documents. Liaise with contractors, stakeholders, and other disciplines to address RFIs, NCRs, and FCRs. Identify potential structural risks and recommend corrective actions. Provide construction direction based on structural design requirements. Attend meetings with contractors, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to address construction issues and develop effective engineering solutions. Conduct regular site walkdowns and verify structural integrity during construction stages. Maintain a consistent on-site presence and support shift-work schedules as required by operational needs. About you Civil Engineering degree from an accredited university. Master's degree or higher is considered an asset. Minimum 3 years of structural analysis and design experience involving steel and concrete structures. Thorough knowledge of Canadian codes and standards applicable to Civil and Structural Engineering. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
