Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Mechanical Engineering & Integrated Digital Delivery)

[What the role is] The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) champions the development of a future ready built environment for Singapore. Besides regulating building safety, we lead and transform the built environment sector in delivering a safe, high quality, sustainable and friendly built environment. We are looking for resourceful, energetic and self-motivated individuals who are inspired to play an active role to make a difference to Singapore’s built environment. [What you will be working on] Plan, develop and manage training programmes for professionals and students, ensuring alignment with industry needs and educational standards. Design, review and enhance programme curriculum and course materials to maintain academic rigour and industry relevance. Curate and deliver engaging and effective learning experiences through various teaching modes, including the incorporation of technology-enabled learning approaches. Facilitate workplace learning through close collaboration with industry partners and mentorship of students. Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions, industry associations, firms, and subject matter experts to enhance programme quality and relevance. [What we are looking for] Relevant academic qualifications and/or professional accreditations, with demonstrated experience in Mechanical Engineering and Digital MEP Design and/or Digital coordination. Proven industry experience and a strong understanding of Singapore’s Building Engineering sector, including prevailing industry practices, standards and sustainability requirements. Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and across multidisciplinary teams. Successful candidates will be offered contract employment.
