At One Behavioral Health, we are a virtual and in-person mental health clinic providing high-quality clinical services to a diverse client population. Our multidisciplinary provider team includes psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and licensed mental health counselors. We work closely with referral partners such as the Department of Mental Health, local hospitals with inpatient psychiatric programs, and community health centers.Our specialty providers serve geriatric patients, adults, adolescents, and children, ensuring comprehensive mental health care across the lifespan.Please apply if you are licensed in Texas. Interns and master’s-level candidates seeking to complete supervised clinical hours will also be considered.POSITION SUMMARYThe therapist is responsible for assisting in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric patients in outpatient settings. This includes conducting initial and follow-up assessments, preparing clinical documentation, providing counseling, developing treatment plans, and communicating with patients and their families, as appropriate.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESProvide individual, family, and group therapy to improve mental health outcomesEncourage clients to explore emotions, experiences, and behavioral patternsAssess and treat concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, stress, self-image, anger management, relationships, LGBTQ+ issues, bullying, aging-related challenges, and suicidal ideationCollaborate with families to support treatment goalsAssist clients in defining goals, creating action plans, and developing insightDevelop and implement individualized treatment plansCoordinate care with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providersUtilize a holistic, mind-body approach to mental health treatmentSECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIESPractice in accordance with Texas state laws, regulations, and ethical standardsWork collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare teamMaintain timely and accurate clinical documentationComplete reports, claims, and correspondence related to patient careMaintain availability during scheduled working hoursParticipate in professional development to maintain and improve clinical skillsPerform duties in compliance with organizational policies and proceduresREQUIREMENTSActive Texas license (LPC, LCSW, or equivalent)Interns and master’s-level candidates seeking clinical hours will be consideredFluent in Spanish – REQUIREDStrong communication, clinical, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a hybrid (in-person + virtual) environment
