THE ROLE Division: Supply Chain Job Title: Logistics Intern About the Role As a Logistics Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in supply chain and logistics operations across multiple markets in the Asia Pacific region. You will support the team in analyzing logistics costs, tracking warehouse performance, reviewing operational KPIs, and helping identify opportunities to improve efficiency and customer service. This internship offers valuable exposure to regional logistics operations, data analysis, performance management, and supply chain decision-making. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support the preparation and consolidation of regional logistics performance reports by gathering, validating, and analyzing operational and financial data from multiple APAC markets. Monitor key logistics and warehouse performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and highlight performance gaps, risks, or improvement opportunities for management review. Assist in conducting root cause analysis on cost fluctuations, service level performance, inventory movement, and warehouse efficiencies to support continuous improvement initiatives. Analyze warehouse storage utilization, inventory aging, and product velocity to help optimize space usage, improve inventory turnover, and reduce storage-related costs. Support cost-to-serve studies by evaluating logistics costs across different customers, countries, distribution centers, and transportation channels to identify cost optimization opportunities. Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and internal stakeholders to collect data, reconcile information, and ensure reporting accuracy. Develop and maintain monthly dashboards, reports, and presentation materials to support business reviews, performance discussions, and strategic decision-making. Participate in regional logistics projects and process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, service levels, and cost effectiveness across the supply chain network. WHAT YOU’LL BRING ESSENTIAL: Undergraduates who can commit for at least 6 months (Jan to Jun 2027) for a full-time internship. Skilled in the use of MS Office tools including Outlook (or related email tool) Excel (Advanced level), Word and PowerPoint, Power BI and Power Query. Supply Chain and Logistics knowledge Self-motivated and self-starter, with a strong work ethic and a sense of confidentiality. Possesses cross-cultural awareness and high emotional intelligence. Articulate with good communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good balance of a professional attitude while having fun. Strong interest in consumer goods, makeup and beauty products. Strong desire to learn along with a strong sense of ownership. Persuasive, resilient and flexible, able to easily adapt to new challenges. Passionate, enthusiastic and driven to regularly follow-up with loose ends. Able to thrive despite challenges while adopting a positive attitude under pressure. LEARNING OUTCOMES Gain hands-on exposure to regional supply chain and logistics operations across APAC. Develop practical skills in data analysis, KPI reporting, performance management, and cost optimization. Understand warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics cost structures. Learn how business decisions are supported through operational insights and performance analytics. Collaborate with regional logistics, finance, and supply chain teams on real business projects.
