This is where you come in: We are looking for an experienced, disciplined and innovative Maintenance Reliability Specialist who is looking to join a busy and fast-paced food manufacturing site based at Yatala. The focus of this business-critical role is to ensure the reliability of the plant to meet the required KPI’s in a safe and cost-effective manner . This role will also establish and drive maintenance practices in accordance with the corporate procedures to ensure standardisation of site maintenance and reporting. Ensuring compliance with processes and procedures to ensure identification of business improvements and RCA practices to eliminate repeated issues is a major focus. Responsibilities include: Enhance plant safety by conducting regular equipment inspections, hazard assessments, and risk mitigation measures. Increase production efficiency by developing and implementing equipment reliability plans, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum output. Provide technical support during equipment breakdowns, facilitating timely repairs and minimizing production losses. Implement predictive maintenance programs utilizing vibration analysis, infrared thermography, and oil analysis techniques for early fault detection and prevention. Coordinate shutdown planning activities to optimize resource utilization during planned outages, reducing downtime duration without compromising work quality or safety standards. Conduct thorough failure analysis to identify root causes of equipment malfunctions and implemented corrective actions. CAPEX and OPEX management from $50,000 to $250,000 Installation and modification of production line machinery and equipment to adapt process changes and R&D requirement Process engineering and management for New Product Development Direct supervisor for trades (both electrical and mechanical) team of up-to 20 members Maximise line efficiencies through the establishment of an effective planned maintenance program The ideal candidate: MUST HAVE Experience within the FMCG industry MUST HAVE RCA Experience - 5 Whys/Fishbone Excellent communication skills, high level interpersonal skills and sound judgement Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders and handle competing priorities Excellent organisation and time management skills Able to influence, manage and challenge ideas and existing business processes Experience in implementing systems and process changes Experience in managing projects Sound knowledge across the Microsoft office suite Experience in managing maintenance operations utilising computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) Comprehensive understanding of maintenance planning, including budget control Recognised trades qualifications are essential What we’re about Welcome to RPF, where we believe in keeping it Real.
