Maintenance Technician

Over de functie Als Maintenance Technician zorg je er samen met je collega’s voor dat ons moderne, geautomatiseerde distributiecentrum in Almelo veilig en betrouwbaar blijft draaien. Je voert preventief onderhoud uit, lost technische storingen op en helpt stilstand van systemen en apparatuur zoveel mogelijk te voorkomen. Je werkt onder andere aan interne transportmiddelen, sorteersystemen, shuttles, installaties en andere apparatuur binnen het distributiecentrum. Wat ga je doen? Preventief onderhoud en technische controles uitvoeren aan apparatuur, systemen en installaties. Mechanische en elektrische storingen onderzoeken, diagnosticeren en oplossen. Elektrische test- en diagnoseapparatuur gebruiken voor troubleshooting en reparaties. Terugkerende storingen herkennen en bijdragen aan praktische verbeteringen. Zorgen dat relevante onderdelen beschikbaar en op voorraad zijn. Samenwerken met collega’s om stilstand te beperken en de operatie veilig en efficiënt te laten verlopen. Veiligheid altijd vooropstellen en bijdragen aan het beheersen van onderhoudskosten. Deelnemen aan storingsdiensten en werken in ploegendienst. Wat zoeken wij? Minimaal MBO niveau 3 werk- en denkniveau in een technische richting. Kennis van mechanische, elektrische en pneumatische systemen . Kennis van PLC-besturingen . Een praktische en proactieve aanpak en de wil om technische problemen echt te begrijpen en op te lossen. Je bent leergierig, werkt graag samen en weet wanneer je hulp moet vragen. Bereidheid om in ploegendienst te werken en beschikbaar te zijn voor storingsdiensten. Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal . VCA-certificering en bekendheid met NEN 3140 zoals opgenomen in het huidige functieprofiel. Wat bieden wij jou? English About the role As a Maintenance Technician , you and your colleagues will help keep our modern, automated distribution centre in Almelo running safely and reliably. You will carry out preventive maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues and help minimise equipment and system downtime. You will work across material-handling equipment, sorting systems, shuttles, installations and other equipment throughout the distribution centre. What will you do? Carry out preventive maintenance and technical inspections on equipment, systems and installations. Investigate, diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults. Use electrical testing and diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs. Identify recurring issues and contribute to practical improvements. Ensure relevant spare parts are available and in stock. Work closely with colleagues to minimise downtime and keep operations running safely and efficiently. Keep safety as a priority while contributing to effective maintenance cost management. Participate in on-call services and work in shifts. What are we looking for? At least MBO level 3 working and thinking level in a technical field. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems . Knowledge of PLC controls . A practical and proactive approach, with the curiosity to understand and solve technical problems. A team-oriented mindset and the ability to recognise when support is needed. Willingness to work in shifts and participate in on-call services. Good command of Dutch and English . VCA certification and familiarity with NEN 3140 as included in the current role profile.
