Pay Transparency The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is €71,750 - €117,875 which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Job Description The Manager, Client Success & Eurozone Operations is a hybrid individual contributor role that combines strategic client engagement with support for key Eurozone priorities. Reporting to the Head of Client Services Central Europe and Eurozone Operations, the role supports strategic priorities, transformational initiatives and cross-functional programs, helping to ensure the effective execution of operational and business objectives across the Eurozone and contributing to continued compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. The position supports the design, coordination, management and delivery of high-profile activities and strategic or transformational initiatives that require collaboration across multiple business functions. A central part of the Eurozone responsibilities is supporting regulatory readiness, coordinating compliance-related activities and helping ensure that relevant requirements, actions and dependencies are understood, tracked and progressed through the appropriate channels. Success in this role requires the ability to build strong partnerships, influence without direct authority and work effectively with stakeholders across Client Services, Product, Technology, Risk, Operations and other European and Global functions. Alongside these responsibilities, the role serves as a trusted advisor to an assigned portfolio of clients, helping them optimize operational performance, adopt new capabilities and maximize the value of their relationship with Visa. This role offers broad exposure across European and Global functions, regular interaction with experienced leaders and the opportunity to build capabilities in Client Success, regulatory readiness, strategic execution, transformation and stakeholder management. It is well suited to a high-performing professional who is ready to take ownership within a defined scope and contribute effectively from day one. Key Responsibilities: Client Success Support and/or oversee the implementation of new Visa products the Client purchases by coordinating key Client and Visa teams to expedite implementation readiness activities and steer the client toward getting faster time to value and maximize adoption of deployed products. Ensure Client operational goals and success metrics for their overall Visa product landscape are understood. Build and sustain a client advocate status with key client stakeholders by proactively executing against forward-looking Client Success Plans, in alignment with the Account Team, to track client specific outcomes including a client’s adoption and performance of Visa products purchased. Participate in the design and delivery of initiatives to improve client adoption of products and use of Visa’s self-tools. Stay current with the latest payment processing trends, Visa solutions and technologies to provide a good Client experience and generate new sales leads as solutions to identified client pain points. Establish working relationships with Client Services and other cross-functional subject matter experts to orchestrate consultation to resolve complex client issues and optimize client performance. Support development of client education and training materials (including webinars) to communicate new Visa Rules, essential mandates, Visa Business Enhancement Releases and/or upcoming changes to ensure client readiness and service compliance. Support and/or lead periodic operational reviews with clients and Visa stakeholders. Act, on an ad-hoc and as needed basis for applicable clients, as the escalation point for managing significant issues and major incident/crisis responses. Proactively identify and drive opportunities to optimize client performance by monitoring client health and liaising with specialist Visa teams as needed. Play the role of the overall Client Services main point of contact for colleagues and clients in your market. Deliver Operational Resilience Support - to disseminate approved Corporate Communications’ messages to clients and maintain ongoing interaction with clients to meet their specific needs throughout a crisis event, coordinating and escalating queries where appropriate (as per agreed Crisis Management Plan). Eurozone Operations and Strategic Initiatives Support the Head of Eurozone in progressing agreed strategic priorities and operational objectives. Support the design, coordination, management and delivery of strategic and transformational initiatives, including high-profile activities with visibility across senior leadership. Support regulatory readiness and the coordination of activities required to help maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Coordinate cross-functional workstreams, plans, milestones, dependencies, risks and actions to support timely delivery of agreed outcomes. Prepare clear analysis, insights, recommendations and management updates to support decision-making and stakeholder discussions. Create and tailor a broad range of recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, presentations and briefing materials for different stakeholder groups, including senior stakeholders, ensuring information is accurate, relevant and clearly communicated. Support Eurozone operational readiness, governance and change activities while maintaining an appropriate level of confidentiality. Build strong partnerships and collaborate closely with stakeholders across European and Global functions Facilitate alignment between teams, clarify ownership and help resolve delivery challenges through structured coordination and follow-up Represent relevant client and Client Success perspectives in cross-functional initiatives and change activities. Translate complex regulatory, operational, technical and business topics into clear implications, actions and communications for different audiences. Maintain effective action tracking and escalate material risks, issues, compliance matters or dependencies through the appropriate channels. Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Qualifications Relevant professional background, combined with a Bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree (e.g., Master’s, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD). Background in Client Success, Client Services, payments, operations, product, consulting, program management, risk, compliance or a related field. Proven ability to coordinate and deliver cross-functional projects, workstreams or business initiatives in a matrix organization. Previous work in a regulated environment, including support for regulatory, compliance, governance or operational readiness activities. Strong track record of managing client or stakeholder relationships and translating business needs into clear actions and deliverables. Strong partnership-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority. Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information and develop practical recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at different levels and present information clearly. Strong planning, organization and execution discipline, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies and deadlines. Ability to work independently within an agreed scope, exercise sound judgment and seek guidance or escalate when appropriate. Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of payments, financial services, fintech, technology or consulting environments. Exposure to strategic, transformational, change or operational improvement initiatives. Proven ability to collaborate with regional and global stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies. Understanding of transaction processing, client operations, operational resilience, regulatory compliance or regulated operating environments. Familiarity with regulatory governance, compliance monitoring, risk management or control frameworks. Knowledge of project management, change management or process improvement approaches. Ability to create and tailor management reports, dashboards, presentations and briefing materials for varied audiences, including senior stakeholders. Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with tools such as Power BI or Tableau is beneficial. Fluent English and German required.
