And we can’t wait to see all that’s to come. About the Role We are seeking a commercially minded strategy and operations leader to help scale FareHarbor's New Markets business. This is a people-management role with direct responsibility for team members across analytics and sales operations. You will act as a strategic partner to the VP of New Markets and Commercial leadership, bringing structure to ambiguous questions, translating data into clear commercial decisions, and ensuring those decisions are implemented effectively across the organization. You will move fluidly between strategy and execution. One day, you may frame and synthesize an ad hoc analysis on market or sales performance; the next, you may sit alongside an Account Executive to understand the reality behind the numbers, refine a process, or coordinate a cross-functional launch. You will also oversee foundational sales operations processes such as lead allocation, account ownership, target setting, performance reporting, and budgeting inputs. The ideal candidate combines commercial judgment, analytical depth, people leadership, and operational discipline. They can challenge constructively, make complex findings accessible, and build scalable ways of working without losing sight of how Commercial teams operate in practice. What you’ll do here: Build and lead a high-performing team: Manage, coach, and develop team members across analytics and sales operations; set clear priorities, raise the quality and speed of output, and foster a commercially oriented, data-driven culture. Advise New Markets leadership: Act as a trusted sparring partner to the VP of New Markets and other Commercial leaders, helping frame strategic questions and make data-informed decisions on growth, market priorities, resource allocation, and operating model. Turn data into commercial action: Direct or conduct ad hoc analyses, interpret and synthesize findings, and translate them into clear recommendations and operating decisions. Pair quantitative insight with front-line context by engaging directly with Account Executives, Account Managers, and other Commercial teams. Own commercial planning and performance management: Lead the target-setting process for Sales and Account Management, establish and maintain relevant KPIs, monitor performance, and identify gaps and opportunities. Ensure goals reflect ground-level realities while supporting long-term revenue objectives. Oversee core sales operations: Ensure the effective execution and continuous improvement of lead allocation, client and account assignments, reporting requirements, process governance, and other recurring operational activities within the Commercial organization. Operationalize strategy and new initiatives: Translate decisions into practical execution plans, align owners and dependencies, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, and manage rollout, adoption, and follow-through. Connect Commercial with the wider organization: Partner with Business Intelligence on reporting and measurement, with RevOps on targets, commission, CAC, process improvements, with Finance on budgeting and planning, and with Product, Operations, Distribution, and Global Commercial Operations on growth initiatives. Translate what is happening in the field into clear business requirements. Build scalable processes and tools: Design, roll out, and maintain workflows, playbooks, dashboards, and decision-support tools that improve productivity, consistency, and revenue outcomes across New Markets. Champion practical AI and automation: Identify and deploy AI-enabled tools and workflows that improve analysis, reduce administrative work, strengthen execution, and help Commercial teams serve clients more effectively. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in commercial strategy, strategic operations, sales operations, revenue operations, or a similar role supporting go-to-market teams, including at least 2 years in a people-management role. Experience leading or working closely with both analytics and sales operations teams, with the ability to set direction, review output, and connect insight to execution. Strong commercial acumen and strategic judgment, with a track record of advising senior leaders and influencing high-impact decisions. Advanced analytical problem-solving skills, including the ability to structure ambiguous questions, work confidently with data, interpret findings, and communicate a clear point of view. A hands-on operating style and a willingness to spend time with front-line teams to understand how processes and market dynamics work in practice. Demonstrated experience setting and operationalizing performance targets, tracking results, and partnering with Sales, Finance, Business Intelligence, and Analytics stakeholders. A proven ability to design, implement, roll out, and maintain processes and tools for large or distributed teams, with measurable adoption and business impact. Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills, with the ability to build alignment across functions and translate between commercial and technical stakeholders. The ability to lead through change in an entrepreneurial, fast-growing environment while maintaining a strong focus on growth, efficiency, and execution quality. Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills Experience with SQL and Tableau or another business intelligence platform Demonstrated interest in, or experience with, applying AI and automation to improve team performance and operational efficiency. Experience working in technology/software. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree or equivalent. Experience in travel technology or marketplaces. This role is a strong fit for someone who is equally comfortable asking the strategic question, validating it with data, and staying close enough to execution to make the answer work in practice.
