Job Description: Summary: This position leads digital marketing for the Kogod School of Business, with end-to-end ownership of the School's marketing technology ecosystem, constituent communication journeys, website, and performance analytics. The role plans and executes the School's digital marketing strategy in support of enrollment, brand awareness, and engagement goals across prospective students, current students, alumni, and partners. The position serves as the School's lead HubSpot administrator, and is accountable for marketing automation, email marketing, audience segmentation, landing pages, and data-driven journey design. It owns campaign measurement and attribution — establishing KPIs, producing regular performance and budget reporting, and translating results into recommendations for the marketing team, Admissions, and program leadership. This position supervises one Marketing Automation Specialist and student workers, and works collaboratively with the marketing team, Admissions, program offices, and UCM. This role reports to the interim Assistant Dean of Marketing & Strategy Essential Functions: 1.) Digital Marketing Strategy and Campaign Planning Plans and manages the annual digital marketing calendar for the School and its programs in collaboration with the Assistant Dean, Admissions, and program leadership. Develops integrated inbound campaigns spanning email, landing pages, web, paid and organic digital channels, and social. Coordinates campaign assets and timelines with the content and design team. Identifies audience and funnel-stage priorities and recommends channel mix and tactics to meet enrollment and engagement goals. 2.) Marketing Automation and Constituent Journeys Owns the design and delivery of school-wide communication journeys in HubSpot for prospects, applicants, admitted and current students, alumni, and other constituents. Directs audience segmentation, workflow architecture, personalization, and lead scoring. Ensures campaigns are built, tested, monitored, and optimized against goals, including A/B and multivariate testing. Sets email best-practice and compliance standards for the School and reviews campaigns produced by the Marketing Automation Specialist and partner offices. 3.) Analytics, Reporting, and Attribution Establishes and monitors KPIs across website, email, landing pages, blog, social, and paid media. Conducts enrollment funnel and attribution analysis and produces regular campaign performance and health reports for the marketing team, Admissions, School leadership, and program leadership. Builds and maintains HubSpot and Google Analytics dashboards. Performs competitive and market research and uses findings to recommend new tactics and improve results. 4.) Website and Digital Content Holds primary responsibility for conversion pages on kogod.american.edu in the HubSpot CMS, including program pages, landing pages, blog, and SEO. Manages the web request and maintenance workflow, maintains design-system and brand-standards consistency, and leads efforts to improve user experience across devices using traffic and behavior data. Advises staff and faculty on web accessibility compliance and represents the School in university-wide web forums. 5.) Marketing Technology Administration and Integration Serves as administrator of the School's marketing technology stack, including HubSpot (Marketing, CMS, and CRM), SMS and related platforms, and project management tools. Owns the HubSpot–Salesforce integration in partnership with Admissions and university IT, including data hygiene, field mapping, sync monitoring, and issue resolution. Evaluates and implements new platform features and integrations, maintains documentation, and trains team members and partner offices on the tools. 6.) Supervision and Team Leadership Supervises one Marketing Automation Specialist and student workers, including hiring, onboarding, work assignment, coaching, and performance management. Sets priorities and quality standards for the digital marketing function and builds the team's capability in automation, analytics, and emerging tools, including AI-assisted marketing practices. 7.)
