If you are looking to excel and make a difference, take a closer look at us… Overview: The Business Manager drives strategy formulation and execution for Wealth Malaysia, acting as the operational and strategic partner for the Head of Wealth Malaysia. Reporting directly to the Head of Wealth Malaysia, this role steers business planning, enforces performance accountability, and spearheads strategic implementation across Wealth Management, Priority Banking, Bancassurance, Investment, Treasury, and Advisory functions. By transforming high-level strategy into rigorous, measurable action plans, the Business Manager guarantees senior leadership maintains absolute control over performance trajectories, emerging risks, and transformation outcomes. Responsibilities Drive the formulation and execution of the Wealth Malaysia strategy to accelerate client growth, AUM, revenue, and product penetration. Mapped out annual business plans, in-charge for board presentations, and enforce progress against key transformation mandates. Command the business performance rhythm by establishing rigorous financial, sales, and RM productivity benchmarks, utilizing targeted analytics to generate prescriptive insights and initiate proactive interventions to optimize portfolio growth. Manage the discipline of leadership meetings, monthly business reviews, and decision-making forums. Steer executive agendas, enforce strict accountability on action deliverables, and preemptively resolve escalation bottlenecks before they impact operations. Lead the deployment of core Wealth transformation programs—including Priority growth/rebranding, digital wealth adoption, and advisory model enhancements. Direct cross-functional workstreams, enforce milestone delivery, and actively dismantle execution blockers. Anchor the strategic alignment between the Head of Wealth and cross-functional leadership. Engineer executive briefing notes, talking points, and townhall narratives, while directly accelerating frontline momentum through proactive sales campaign management and operational toolkit deployment. Proactively manage and mitigate business risks by enforcing adherence to regulatory, compliance, and audit standards. Institutionalize robust governance frameworks and drive the uncompromised delivery of weekly priority trackers, meeting resolutions, and project outcomes. Skills & Experience We Are Looking For: Possess Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Actuarial Science, Data Analytics, or a related field. More than 5 to 8 years of experience in banking, wealth management, strategy, business planning, or sales management, with an advantage if experienced in supporting senior leadership. Deep knowledge of affluent, priority, and HNW client segments, with direct experience in investment, bancassurance, wealth advisory, or branch distribution frameworks. Strong business and financial analysis skills with expert proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to build data dashboards and executive-level presentations. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong grasp of banking controls and risk compliance; comfortable engaging directly with senior executives and influencing cross-functional teams without authority.
