About the role Risk & Compliance Manager (SOCI) Join AGL’s Governance, Risk, Compliance & Insurance (GRCI) team and help strengthen the resilience and security of Australia’s critical infrastructure. As the Risk & Compliance Manager (SOCI) , you will lead the coordination and ongoing operation of AGL’s Critical Infrastructure Risk Management Program (CIRMP), ensuring compliance with the Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) Act and supporting the effective management of critical infrastructure risks. Working across the enterprise, you will partner with senior leaders, technical specialists and business stakeholders to provide trusted risk and compliance advice, oversight and challenge. This is a unique opportunity to shape AGL’s approach to critical infrastructure resilience while driving practical, commercially focused risk and compliance outcomes in a dynamic regulatory environment. In this role will be accountable for Lead the ongoing delivery and continuous improvement of AGL’s Critical Infrastructure Risk Management Program (CIRMP), ensuring compliance with Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) obligations. Provide expert risk and compliance oversight, advice and challenge to support the effective management of critical infrastructure risks across AGL. Drive the implementation of new SOCI regulatory requirements, translating legislative obligations into practical governance, risk and compliance frameworks. Develop and deliver risk monitoring, assurance and reporting activities, strengthening control effectiveness and supporting regulatory readiness. Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders across the business to enhance risk capability, influence key decisions and embed strong risk management practices. Who We're Looking For Proven experience in risk management, compliance, governance and regulatory change within complex, highly regulated environments. Strong understanding of enterprise risk management, assurance activities and second-line risk practices. Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical, business-focused solutions. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, advise and constructively challenge at all levels. Knowledge of the SOCI Act, critical infrastructure or energy sector experience, and relevant risk, governance, legal or business qualifications will be highly regarded. Why Join Us?
