Job Title: Manufacturing Technician C Job Code: 46011 Job Location: North Amityville, New York Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days- totaling 80 hours worked- and have every other Friday off Job Description: Responsible for performing ESS (Environmental Stress Screening) testing on a variety of test items. Also includes performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework, quality, and ATP testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Essential Functions: Run & program profiles for electrodynamic vibration shakers and thermal chambers interpreted from test documents. Ability to collect, analyze and decipher recorded test data. Review and execute acceptance test plans and procedures for Qualification & Production programs on a wide variety of electromechanic systems. Support qualification test programs Perform troubleshooting on top level and component level units. Assist engineers in performing engineering test & evaluations (ET&E) for R&D and production programs. Provide feedback to test engineers to improve test processes/methodologies. Observe industry best practices for FOD, ESD, and material handling controls. Ability to obtain a US security clearance. Qualifications: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional Skills: Experience with hand & power tools. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint.) Excellent written and oral communication skills. In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York (Greater NYC Area) is $27.40 MIN - $50.96 MAX.
