World Vision New Zealand is looking for a skilled Marketing Automation Specialist to join our Marketing Technology team. In this role, you will build, execute, and optimise multi-channel communication journeys using our marketing automation platform, Customer.io. You will work closely with our Go-To-Market and Data teams to translate campaign briefs into automated, personalised communications that engage supporters at scale. Key Responsibilities Build and execute automated supporter journeys across email, SMS, direct mail, WhatsApp, and phone channels. Translate campaign briefs from stakeholders into multi-channel automation workflows. Implement dynamic content, audience segmentation, and A/B testing to improve engagement. Analyse campaign and journey performance data and provide actionable recommendations such as channel strategy and content effectiveness Maintain data integrity, QA automation builds, and complete pre/post go-live checklists. Document Customer.io processes and support team upskilling on the platform. Partner with Operations and Data teams to ensure accurate targeting and smooth campaign operations. Every night, you'll go home knowing you made a difference in someone's life. About You 2+ years of experience in marketing automation or a similar digital marketing role. Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Customer.io, HubSpot, Marketo, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud etc. Strong understanding of supporter lifecycle, personalisation, and behavioural triggers. Proficiency in HTML for email, dynamic content, Liquid templating, and basic SQL. Ability to interpret briefs and turn them into operational, multi-channel journeys. Ability to collaborate with data teams to implement triggers, segmentation, and tagging logic. High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality assurance. Strong analytical skills, you can surface insights and translate them into improvements. Experience working with not-for-profit or fundraising teams (desirable). Familiarity with CDP/CRM data structures and A/B testing frameworks (desirable). A collaborative mindset, a growth mindset, and alignment with World Vision's Christian values.
