Medical Billing Customer Service Representative

This is a remote position for individuals living in the states of: Alabama, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Responsibilities Answer inbound calls regarding patient statements, insurance payments, and account balances. Provide accurate information about patient accounts, billing history, and charges. Process credit card payments over the phone. Document call details, account inquiries, and actions taken. Escalate complex billing disputes and concerns to the appropriate department. Deliver friendly, professional service while handling sensitive billing questions. Qualifications 1 year of call center or customer service/office experience Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems. Excellent attention to detail and accurate documentation skills. Ability to multitask and process information efficiently. A calm, professional approach when handling challenging calls. A patient-focused attitude and a commitment to quality customer service.
