Role Overview: This role involves administering treatments, interpreting telemetry data, coordinating care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient recovery and safety. Requirements: Required 1 years’ experience. Required 1 year of Epic charting experience. Medication System: Omnicell Flu Vaccine Required – No Exemptions. Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TN active RN license. Required 1 years’ experience for travelers. Required Float, as needed and per skill set. Skills: Respiratory: BiPAP/CPAP management, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, oral suctioning, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks Gastrointestinal Genitourinary/Renal Neurological/Psychiatric CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) Substance Withdrawal IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Starting and maintaining IVs Work settings: ER Holding, MS/Tele, Genitourinary/Renal, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management Genitourinary/Renal: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management Gastrointestinal: Feeding tube care and management Medications: Heparin, Insulin, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE Use of Rapid Response/Code teams Special Procedures Details: Inpatient unit for our stroke and TIA patients. Peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation. Schedule: Shift hours: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15). Weekend Coverage: Every other but may change based on need. Required Float, as needed.
