Network Engineer - GNOC

About you We are seeking a dynamic and driven GNOC Engineer to join our Global Network Operations Centre (GNOC) team. In this critical role, you will be at the forefront of monitoring, managing, and ensuring the operational efficiency of network infrastructure, delivering robust support to our clients. Key Responsibilities - Proactively monitor network performance, ensuring optimal service availability and response times. - Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents and alerts in a timely manner. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions for long-term network issues and improvements. - Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades on networking equipment and systems. - Maintain comprehensive documentation related to network diagrams, incident reports, and standard operating procedures. - Provide technical support and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Key requirements - A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Proven experience in network engineering or operations within a high-availability environment. - Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security measures, and monitoring tools. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a customer-centric approach.
