About the role We are seeking an experienced maintenance leader to join our Kooragang Island operations as Maintenance Superintendent . You will lead the safe, reliable and cost-effective execution of maintenance across the Ammonia Plant, bringing together mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and contractor resources to deliver planned and responsive maintenance activities. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity where you’ll work closely with Operations, Maintenance Planning and Engineering to turn maintenance priorities into effective field execution. From coordinating daily maintenance and responding to plant issues through to preparing upcoming work and leading shutdown activities, you’ll play an important role in supporting asset integrity, plant reliability and safe operations within a Major Hazard Facility. What you will be doing Lead safe and effective maintenance execution; Coordinate planned and responsive maintenance activities; Align priorities with Operations, Planning and Engineering; Lead maintenance activities during shutdowns and outages; Improve reliability through defect elimination and root cause analysis; Manage contractors, resources and maintenance costs; Coach and develop a capable, accountable maintenance team. What you will bring Strong leadership in industrial or process maintenance; Experience leading multidisciplinary maintenance teams; Strong maintenance execution and work management capability; Knowledge of process safety, asset integrity and risk management; Experience with SAP PM/EAM or similar maintenance systems; Strong problem-solving and prioritisation skills; An engineering or relevant trade qualification.
