OFFSHORE CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER

• Reviews and executes mobilization plan. • Compiles project documentation. • Co-ordinates activities between departments and other groups. • Compiles & issues work packages. • Material control and expediting. • Execution of specialized activities. • Client & sub-contract liaison. • Compliance in accordance with HSE Standard. • Assist senior engineers., Proj. Mgr., Section Head. • Trains and oversees junior engineers. • Coordinates with Engineering Department. • Ensures completion of all project field documentation. Coordinate with all departments within the company for all offshore-related scope of the project. Assist OCM in preparing requirement and technical evaluation of offshore materials and expedite the delivery, receipt at stores and approval of MRV of these materials. Assist OCM in providing input for weekly and monthly report and attend meetings with client. Assist OCM in liaising with third party agency on offshore execution related issues. Assist OCM in Liaising with marine warranty surveyors on all issues related to marine / construction aspects of the work such as document review, approval, attendance during load-out, towing and offshore installation. Attend weekly meetings with OOD / OCM to discuss progress and areas of concern. Insure implementation of the project safety plan and the company HSEMS. Insure and enhance quality of the work. Initiate the variation orders /claims related to offshore work. Compile the technical input (procedures / engineering documents),and assist CM in assigning offshore durations. Prepare mobilization plans, and attend mobilization meetings. Coordinate with, OPE, Barge Superintends, and Field Engineers to ensure that mobilization is through and complete. • B.Sc. Engineering. • 5 year’s experience in offshore construction • English. • Report writing skills. • Natural decision maker. • Good communication skills and a committed team player. • Willingness to work onshore & offshore. • Knowledge of personnel and equipment. • Thorough understanding of offshore operations.
