Job Summary:The Intermediate P3 Design Lead will be responsible for leading the design team for P3 (Public-Private Partnership) projects pursued by our architecture firm with Infrastructure Ontario. They will work closely with project managers, technical experts, and other design professionals to develop design solutions that meet project requirements and are feasible within the P3 procurement framework.The successful candidate will have a strong design background, excellent communication and leadership skills, and experience working on P3 projects in the infrastructure sector.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design team for P3 projects pursued by our firm with Infrastructure Ontario, including managing project schedules, budgets, and deliverables for the design teamCollaborate with project managers, technical experts, and other design professionals to ensure that designs are coordinated and meet project objectivesDevelop design solutions that meet project requirements and are feasible within the P3 procurement framework, including preparing design deliverables such as drawings, specifications, and other documentation as requiredPresent design solutions to clients, stakeholders, and project teams as required, including participating in business development activities such as client meetings, proposal preparation, and presentationsCoordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders as required to ensure that designs are coordinated and meet project objectivesKeep up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our design processesMentor junior team members and provide technical guidance and support as requiredQualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related fieldMinimum of 7 years of experience in an architectural firm or a related industryExperience working on P3 projects in the infrastructure sectorStrong design skills, with a portfolio of work that demonstrates design excellenceExcellent communication and leadership skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesProfessionalism, with a strong work ethic and commitment to qualityAbility to work effectively in a team environmentProficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other software as requiredUnderstanding of building codes, construction techniques, and materials techniques, and materialsInternal Job Code: DL-P3-03Salary Range: $94,000 - $109,000 / Annually
