The Partner Operations Manager is responsible for establishing and driving the operational discipline, governance and performance visibility across the organisation’s partner ecosystem. Working closely with Partner Ecosystem leads and key stakeholders across Corporate Procurement, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Sales and business units, the role ensures that partner lifecycle processes are effectively managed, partner programmes deliver measurable outcomes, and management has clear visibility of partner performance, investments and business contribution. The role serves as the operational backbone of the Partner Ecosystem , enabling Partner Managers to focus on strategic partner development, go-to-market execution and business growth. Key Responsibilities Partner Lifecycle & Governance Manage and coordinate the end-to-end partner lifecycle, including onboarding, renewals, changes and offboarding. Drive governance and ongoing management of the Partner Vendor List (PVL) , ensuring partner records and status remain current and accurate. Establish clear processes, operating cadence and controls across partner-related activities. Maintain a centralised view of partner agreements, programme status, key requirements and actions. Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement and simplification of partner operations. Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management Serve as a key coordination point between the Partner Ecosystem team and stakeholders including Corporate Procurement, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Sales and relevant business teams . Coordinate partner-related approvals, documentation, due diligence and governance requirements. Proactively track dependencies, issues and outstanding actions to ensure timely completion of partner-related activities. Build effective working relationships across functions to streamline and improve the overall partner experience. Rebates, Incentives & Partner Investments Establish a centralised view of partner rebates, incentives, funding and other applicable partner programmes. Work with Partner Managers, Finance and relevant stakeholders to develop forecasts and track actual performance. Improve visibility of available partner funding and utilisation to maximise value to the organisation. Track key programme commitments, milestones and outcomes. Services Pull-Through & Business Performance Work with Partner Managers, Sales and business teams to improve visibility of services pull-through and partner-attributed business outcomes . Establish appropriate metrics and reporting to track partner contribution across revenue, services and pipeline. Support the development of partner scorecards and dashboards to provide management with a consolidated view of ecosystem performance. Identify trends, gaps and opportunities requiring management attention. Partner Programme Effectiveness Measure and report on the effectiveness of partner programmes, initiatives and investments. Define relevant KPIs and success measures in collaboration with Partner Ecosystem leads. Assess programme performance against intended business outcomes and recommend improvements where appropriate. Support periodic partner portfolio reviews to help determine continued investment and prioritisation. Reporting & Management Visibility Develop and maintain dashboards and management reports covering key partner operational and performance metrics. Provide accurate and timely information for business reviews, planning cycles and management discussions. Drive data quality and consistency across partner-related information and reporting. Provide insights and recommendations based on partner performance and operational data.
The ideal candidate should possess Experience working within a technology vendor, systems integrator or technology services organisation. Familiarity with technology partner programmes, including rebates, incentives, MDF/co-investment programmes and partner accreditation. Experience working with procurement, compliance, legal and finance processes associated with third-party or partner management. Experience tracking partner-generated or partner-influenced pipeline, revenue and services pull-through. Familiarity with CRM, partner management platforms, BI/reporting tools or similar systems.
