Payroll & Benefits Specialist

We are looking for two (2) Payroll & Benefits Specialists based in Manila to join our lean, high-performing People & Culture team.In this role, you will focus on end-to-end payroll processing and benefits administration of our global payroll operations across North America, and EMEA. You will ensure high accuracy, compliance, and an exceptional employee experience. If you thrive in an agile setting, enjoy both problem-solving and hands-on execution, and bring a great collaborative spirit, we’d love to meet you!Key ResponsibilitiesGlobal Payroll Administration: Handle end-to-end processing for multi-jurisdictional payroll across North America, and EMEA utilizing ADP WorkforceNow and trusted local payroll vendors.Benefits Administration: Manage global employee benefits programs, conduct annual vendor reviews, and ensure seamless open enrollment and onboarding/offboarding workflows.Financial Alignment & Accounting: Perform monthly payroll journal entries, accruals, variance analysis, GL reconciliations and financial audits. Process and reconcile monthly benefit billing statements across all carriers.Compliance & Year-End: Ensure 100% compliance with local labor laws, statutory tax filings, statutory reporting, and year-end processes (e.g., tax statements/summaries) across all global operating entities.Employee Experience: Serve as the trusted primary contact for employee inquiries regarding pay, tax withholdings, and benefits entitlements.HR Systems & Master Data: Maintain data integrity across systems (ADP WorkforceNow, BambooHR, NetSuite), updating employee records, compensation changes, and leverage tech to automate manual processes.Job Qualifications3 to 8 years of hands-on payroll experience, with specific hands-on expertise in US & Canadian payroll processing and tax complianceTech-Savvy: Proficiency in ADP WorkforceNow, BambooHR, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, pivot tables)Hands-On Mindset: Thrives working independently as the sole payroll/benefits operator while being a supportive team player on a lean HR teamDetail-Oriented & Reliable: High accuracy, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to handling sensitive payroll and employee data with complete confidentialityStrong Communicator: Excellent verbal/written communication skills with an approachable, empathetic, and customer-service mindset toward employee inquiriesNice-to-Haves:Payroll certification (e.g., US CPP/FPC or Canadian PCP/PLP equivalent)Prior experience supporting US/Canadian payroll from a BPO, Shared Services, or global team environment in the PhilippinesExposure to EMEA payroll or Philippine local statutory payroll/benefitsExperience in the SaaS or CXM (Customer Experience Management) sectorsAdditional details:This role is on a hybrid, and night-shift post (Eastern Time Zone, 9pm-6am PH time)The Good Stuff:Amazing growth and learning opportunities with a fast-growing Canadian SaaS company that is a world leader in its industryBest-in-class company paid benefits for you and your family - offering medical, dental, vision, RRSP matching in Canada, a 401K in the US, and more.Unlimited Vacation: Yep, it’s true.
