In this role, you will help ensure that colleagues across Denmark are paid accurately and on time, while providing support on topics such as pay, vacation, parental leave and time registration. Your new role Your main responsibilities will be: · Support employees across Denmark with questions related to salary, pension, taxation, vacation, parental leave and time registration. · Handle employee cases and phone enquiries, providing clear, professional and helpful guidance in every interaction. · Learn and develop expertise across payroll processes through structured training and close collaboration with experienced colleagues. · Contribute to the accurate and timely delivery of payroll, helping ensure colleagues receive the right pay at the right time. · Collaborate with Payroll colleagues and other specialist teams to resolve enquiries and continuously improve employee support. · Take part in the optimisation and digitalisation of payroll processes, supporting Novo’s ambition to simplify and improve the employee experience. Together with your colleagues, you will support a high-volume payroll operation that handles more than 55,000 employee cases and calls annually, making a positive difference through every interaction. Your new department You will join the Payroll team within Corporate Accounting, part of Finance Operations at Novo. Together, the team supports approximately 34,000 employees across Novo and affiliated companies, ensuring accurate payroll delivery and providing guidance on payroll-related topics. The team consists of 18 colleagues with diverse backgrounds and experiences who work closely together to deliver high-quality service. We continuously explore new technologies, digital solutions and AI tools to improve our processes and create a better experience for employees across the organisation. Your skills and qualifications You are motivated by delivering great service and interested in developing expertise within payroll. Whether you bring experience from payroll, HR or another office-based function, you combine a structured approach with curiosity, accountability and a willingness to learn. To succeed in this role, you have: · Relevant experience from an administrative, customer service, HR, finance or other office-based role. · Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work. · The ability to work independently, manage priorities and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment. · Confidence using digital tools, with experience in MS Outlook, Excel and Word. Experience with SAP Payroll/HR or ServiceNow is an advantage but not required. · An interest in systems, technology and AI-enabled tools to simplify and improve ways of working. · Fluency in both Danish and English, written and spoken. You are a collaborative and service-minded professional who enjoys helping others, sharing knowledge and finding practical solutions. You build trust through clear communication, take ownership of your responsibilities and contribute positively to the team, even during busy periods. Salary : For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 383,200 to 563,400 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
