Personal Assistant (Meal Prep & Household Support)

Private couple in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor seeks a capable, grounded, and detail-oriented Personal Assistant with a strong focus on daily cooking and home support. This is a hands-on role centered around creating a calm, well-run home environment, with equal attention to meal preparation, organization, and day-to-day logistics. The right person is warm, proactive, and highly reliable. They take pride in maintaining an orderly home, enjoy cooking, and naturally anticipate needs. RESPONSIBILITIES Daily Cooking and Kitchen Management Plan and prepare dinner each evening, along with light snacks or simple daytime meals as needed Grocery shop and maintain a well-stocked kitchen and pantry Manage food inventory, kitchen organization, and cleanliness Adapt meals to preferences and maintain consistency in quality and timing Household Management Oversee the day-to-day flow of the home, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently Coordinate vendors, deliveries, and service appointments Maintain organization across all living spaces, offices, and storage areas Handle household errands, supply restocking, and ongoing upkeep (deep cleaning handled separately) Personal and Administrative Support Manage calendars, appointments, and scheduling logistics Coordinate medical appointments and maintain organized records Assist with medication organization and reminders Provide light tech support and general administrative assistance Run local errands and support day-to-day personal needs Pet Care and Support Assist with care for a friendly mini Bernedoodle, including walks and feeding Coordinate grooming and other pet-related appointments as needed REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS - Experience in a private home, personal assistant, household manager, or similar support role - Strong cooking skills and genuine enjoyment of meal preparation - Highly organized with excellent follow-through - Calm, discreet, and dependable - High emotional intelligence and strong situational awareness - Comfortable managing both routine tasks and shifting priorities - Tech-comfortable, including Google Suite and basic troubleshooting - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation ROLE DETAILS - Location: Baltimore Inner Harbor, secure luxury waterfront residence - Schedule: Monday through Friday, 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM ET - Compensation: $60,000 to $70,000 annually, depending on experience Switchboard is a recruiting and placement firm representing the client for this search.
