Pizza Maker (Full-Time) FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES - Eataly Eaton Centre

A Pizza Maker is responsible for producing roman-style pizza alla pala in accordance with our authentic Italian recipes. Reports to the Bakery & Pala Lead. Prepares pizzas according to specific recipes Complies with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies and procedures Maintains a clean and sanitary food production area according to Department of Health standards Works towards mastering all shifts in pizza production Assists Sales Associates if needed and engages with guests interested in learning about pizza production Performs other duties as required or assigned 1+ year of experience in a back of house production position Good work ethic, communication and time management skills Job Requirements Availability to work onsite with a flexible, open schedule often including evenings and weekends preferred Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to exert well-paced mobility for at least 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting Ability to work with a wood burning oven, electric pizza convection oven and commercial spiral mixer Compensation Compensation for this role is CAD $19.00-$21.00 hourly Benefits and Perks Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Parental Leave RRSP Free family meal daily Discounts at Eataly Classes on products and Italian cuisine Referral bonus program and more!
