Preventive Maintenance Technician/Mechanic

Preventive Maintenance Technician / Mechanic RMA Worldwide is looking for a dependable and hands-on Preventive Maintenance Technician / Mechani c to join our Fleet Maintenance team in Landover, MD. This position will focus primarily on the preventive maintenance, inspection, and general repair of our motor coach flee t. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to the details, and understands the importance of keeping commercial passenger vehicles safe, reliable, and ready for the road. Schedule Monday–Friday: 12:00 PM–8:00 PM Weekend availability is required. Weekend shifts will be needed as part of a rotating schedule based on operational and fleet maintenance needs. What You’ll Do * Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on motor coaches * Complete routine inspections and identify potential mechanical or safety concerns * Perform oil changes, filter changes, lubrication, and other scheduled maintenance * Inspect and service brakes, tires, fluids, belts, hoses, batteries, and other vehicle components * Assist with diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues * Perform pre- and post-maintenance safety inspections * Document completed maintenance and repairs accurately * Help ensure vehicles remain compliant with company and DOT safety standards * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment * Communicate vehicle concerns and needed repairs to Fleet leadership * Assist with additional fleet maintenance and shop responsibilities as needed What We’re Looking For * Previous automotive, diesel, commercial vehicle, or motor coach maintenance experience preferred * Preventive maintenance experience strongly preferred * Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems * Ability to safely use shop tools and equipment * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety * Dependable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team * Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with vehicle maintenance * Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record * CDL is a plus, but not required unless otherwise specified for the position * Must be able to successfully complete applicable pre-employment requirements Why Join RMA Worldwide?
