Job Description Overview This is an exciting opportunity for a Principal Creative to play a leading role in growing Creative Design's presence across Australia. We are seeking an experienced creative leader who can engage confidently with clients, develop compelling communication strategies, identify new opportunities and help position Creative Design as a trusted partner across the broader AtkinsRéalis business. You will work closely with business leaders, technical teams and global Creative Design colleagues to develop solutions that support infrastructure, transportation, energy, environmental and community projects. While creativity remains an important part of the role, the primary focus is on strategic thinking, client engagement and business development. Your role Act as a creative advisor to clients, helping them communicate complex projects and ideas effectively. Build strong relationships across AtkinsRéalis and with external clients to identify new opportunities and grow the Creative Design offering. Develop communication and engagement strategies that create measurable value for clients and projects. Work collaboratively with global Creative Design colleagues to leverage expertise, resources and best practice. Identify opportunities for innovation, digital adoption and service development. Contribute to business planning, forecasting and pipeline development activities. Champion high-quality delivery while balancing commercial objectives and client expectations. Represent Creative Design in internal and external meetings, presentations, workshops and pursuit activities. Support proposals, bids and strategic client conversations that contribute to business growth. About you Significant experience in a creative, communications, stakeholder engagement, marketing or design leadership role. Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to connect client challenges to practical and innovative solutions. Experience building trusted relationships with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, influence decision-making and contribute to business growth. Strong communication and presentation skills with confidence engaging senior leaders and clients. A portfolio of work demonstrating strategic thinking, communication outcomes and creative problem-solving. Experience developing communication, engagement or marketing strategies that deliver measurable results. Understanding of digital communications, design and emerging technologies, including the practical application of AI tools. Commercial awareness including project scoping, budgeting and resource planning. Ability to navigate ambiguity, solve problems proactively and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. A passion for design, innovation and helping clients communicate complex information more effectively.
