We partner with leading organizations nationwide to deliver convenient, high-quality healthcare where people work.We’re seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Lufkin, TX, supporting our onsite wellness and safety program for a local construction site. This position offers flexible, as-needed scheduling—perfect for nurses who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy making a direct impact in the field.About the RoleAs a PRN RN, you’ll play a key role in promoting health and safety at the job site. Working collaboratively with the lead nurse and site safety team, you’ll provide first aid, health education, and preventive services to help workers stay safe, healthy, and engaged.This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys hands-on, relationship-based work—someone who’s comfortable being visible on site, engaging with workers, and providing approachable, trusted care in an outdoor construction environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFirst Aid & Onsite SafetyAssess and provide first aid for occupational injuries or illnesses with accurate documentationMaintain first aid and clinic supplies in clean, organized conditionCoordinate emergency response with onsite EMTs or safety personnelDocument injuries, prepare reports, and assist with return-to-work assessmentsScreenings & ImmunizationsProvide basic health screenings (BP, height, weight, BMI, body composition)Perform specimen collections for drug and alcohol screenings, as applicableAdminister immunizations such as influenza vaccinesHealth PromotionEngage employees and leadership in health and wellness initiativesShare educational resources and promote healthy lifestyle habitsLead group activities such as stretch-and-flex programs or brief wellness sessionsQualificationsActive RN license (required)BLS or ACLS certification (required)Excellent clinical judgment and documentation skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently and adapt to changing needs onsiteComfortable working outdoors in various weather conditionsPreferred:Experience in occupational health, wellness, or construction environmentsVenipuncture skills and/or Respiratory FIT testing experienceCompensationCompetitive hourly rate based on experience and qualificationsPRN (as-needed) scheduling flexibilityAll candidates must successfully complete a background check and drug screenJoin Ramp Health and help us bring meaningful, accessible healthcare to the workplace—one site at a time.
