Some of our other fantastic benefits Potential, discretionary annual bonus pension scheme 26 days holiday Scope This is an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Specialist to join the Procurement Team at Sincereal Group during a time of transformation. Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will take ownership of the sourcing strategy of key categories (Raw Materials, Packaging) across both the UK and French Sincereal sites. You will have a passion for delivering value and building strong supplier relationships. The role is responsible for leading contract negotiation, cost management, and supplier performance improvement to ensure the business benefits from secure supply, competitive cost, and high-quality service. You must be comfortable working at pace in a high-growth environment, with confidence in navigating ambiguity and influencing stakeholders. This is a pivotal role, ensuring a balance of cost, risk, innovation, and sustainability across the supply base. Working closely with Planning, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain, you will ensure supplier capabilities, commercial terms, and contracts support stable production plans and operational efficiency. You will take responsibility in setting the strategic category direction and ensuring that supply is resilient, compliant and aligned to current and future business requirements. This position is based at the Itancourt, France site, and frequent travel to suppliers and the Bromborough, UK site will be required. This role offers flexibility on hybrid working. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a new company that is a major, sustainable and competitive player in the growing cereal private label market About – Sincereal Role Purpose To deliver value, resilience, and service performance by owning end-to-end sourcing, negotiation, and contracting activities, while driving supplier performance improvement. You will ensure the business is supported by capable, compliant suppliers, robust commercial agreements, and accurate ERP contract records aligned to safety, quality, and operational requirements Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end sourcing, tendering, and negotiations for assigned categories to secure competitive total cost and supply continuity Develop, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts, ensuring clear commercial terms aligned to business needs Manage supplier relationships, and proactively manage supply risks, including contingency planning and dual sourcing strategies Identify and deliver cost-saving and value-creation opportunities (e.g. cost avoidance, standardisation, optimisation) Create and maintain accurate supplier contract records within the ERP system, including pricing, validity, and supply parameters Partner with NPD and Quality teams on new supplier approval, audits, non-conformance management, and supplier improvement initiatives Collaborate with Planning teams to align supplier capability (lead times, MOQ, constraints) with production requirements Monitor markets and global trends, to provide insights, and report on supplier performance, risks, sustainability, and value delivery Ensure all activities meet safety, quality, food safety, and governance standards Ingredients for success You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement, with proven experience of sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management within an FMCG environment. Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and drive measurable performance improvements Comfort in navigating ambiguity, with resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment Skilled in using ERP systems and procurement data management tools. Strong commercial mindset with understanding of total cost of ownership and risk management High attention to detail, with an ability to analyse data, identify root causes, and proactively implement effective solutions Confident communicator who can influence stakeholders and challenge suppliers constructively Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across operations, planning, and quality CIPS qualification (or working towards) or equivalent procurement training is desirable, but not essential Willing to travel regularly both domestically and overseas.
