Job description
ABOUT THE ROLE
A fast-growing, seed-stage enterprise AI platform is looking for a talented and proactive Full-Stack Product Engineer to join the team on-site in Berlin. Founded in 2023, the company builds a comprehensive, security-first platform that helps organizations securely adopt and integrate generative AI — covering AI chat, workflows, custom agents, and integrations across entire business operations.
This is an early-stage opportunity where you'll own features end-to-end, work directly with the Chief Product Officer, and ship AI-powered capabilities that drive enterprise adoption at scale.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Contribute to the development of product features across the AI platform, from technical design through to user-facing implementation.
- Build end-to-end solutions spanning the frontend (Next.js), backend (Node.js), and database layers.
- Collaborate with the design team and customers to gather insights, iterate on features, and refine user flows.
- Implement user interfaces including full screens, reusable components, and complete user journeys.
- Maintain and optimize the codebase for performance and user experience.
- Participate in Support Engineer rotations, periodically shifting focus to assist customers and the customer support team alongside the rest of the engineering team.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-have:
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Strong proficiency with Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js (dealbreakers).
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Prisma, tRPC, and Tailwind CSS.
- Proven track record of delivering features end-to-end — from concept to production — in full-stack development.
Nice to have:
- Experience building AI-powered product features and integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
- Experience collaborating closely with a Chief Product Officer and cross-functional teams to shape product direction.
- Strong CS fundamentals with a habit of rapid learning and adaptation.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Salary: $66,000 – $120,000 per year (depending on experience).
- Visa sponsorship is available.
LOCATION
- On-site, Berlin, Germany. This is a full-time, in-person role — remote work is not available for this position.
