The Paradigm Shift The classical era of software development, where PMs spend months in meetings and write 30-page PRDs, is over. At Yext, the structural bottleneck isn't writing code; it’s having the product taste, domain nuance, and execution speed to find the right solution before the market shifts. We don't need agile process coordinators; we need high-agency Product Builders. What You Will Do You will join one of our core anchors, Competitive Intelligence, Data Syndication, or Consumer Experience, and are responsible for bringing to life a vision of autonomous marketing built for the world of AI Search. Rapid Prototyping: You will use modern tools (Claude, Cursor, etc.) to build functional proofs-of-concept and data pipelines, validating ideas with real users. Domain Refinement: You will cultivate deep product taste by analyzing industry trends, experimenting with AI interfaces, and engaging in feedback loops with power users. Outcome-Driven Delivery: You will balance speed with operational discipline, using analytics to measure performance and prioritizing the 20% of effort that drives 80% of business outcomes. Collaborative Scaling: You will partner with engineering to harden high-conviction prototypes into scalable, secure, and instrumented global features. Who You Are You are a builder. You might be a technical marketer, an engineer who shifted focus toward user psychology, or a PM eager to work in a high-velocity, high-ambition environment. Customer Empathy: You are genuinely interested in the world of marketing and seek to connect with our customers to understand their goals and objectives and how we can help them succeed. Foresight: You anticipate trends and maintain persistent curiosity about the future of technology. Technical Literacy: You are comfortable with the basics of LLMs, RAG, and structured data, understanding the shift toward conversational interfaces. Operational Rigor: You love the speed of a prototype but possess the discipline to benchmark success and maintain a high standard for production-grade software. Accountability and high agency. #LI-PV1 Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee’s job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental and vision benefits; life insurance; short term and long-term disability; 401(k) retirement plan; and vacation and sick leave. Successful candidates may also be eligible for variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.
