About the project: Our client is a SaaS company providing a platform that helps organizations manage employee expenses and spending. The solution includes corporate cards, prepaid cards, virtual vendor cards, and integrations with financial software. The platform serves clients across various sectors, including non-profit organizations, education, the gig economy, healthcare and human services, and financial services.Team composition: QA, AQA, .NET engineer, Tech Lead, Director of ProductsWorking hours:1pm CET - 10pm CETRequirements:3+ years of experience with developing/managing products/digital experiencesExcellent communication and collaboration skills (visual and written)Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOpsExperience with A/B and multivariate testing toolsExperience in conducting user research and usability testingExperience with AI (Claude is used in the project)Experience within payments or financial servicesBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldNice to have:Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce or HubSpot)Familiarity with CDP systems (Segment or Rudderstack)Portfolio demonstrating a proven track record of shipping user-centric design workExpertise in design and prototyping tools: FigmaProficiency using analytics tools: PostHog, Power BIPrior experience with small business tools, SaaS products is a plus Responsibilities:Bring together insights from every area to design and build the customer experienceShip high-quality, new products and features on a weekly basisDefine and articulate user-facing features, ensuring engaging and intuitive interactionsCollaborate with business partners to scope, design and develop new features for growth, P&L and customer goalsRapidly synthesize complex issues into product requirements and easy-to-use UXDevelop a deep understanding of user needs and behaviorsWork closely with UI designers and developers for consistent, visually appealing, functionally effective productsConduct user research: usability testing, A/B testing, other validation methodsCreate usability test plans, conduct qualitative interviews, synthesize and report findingsWrite comprehensive user stories with acceptance criteria; participate in UAT and functionality testingTrack and report on engagement metrics; make data-driven decisionsValidate design decisions and understand the impact on UX and conversion ratesManage product feature lifecycle from conception through launchAnalyze user data and translate insights into actionable improvementsProvide thought leadership in design thinking and user-centered designKeep up-to-date with trends in technology, design, and the competitive landscapeDefine and track KPIs and key results around user experienceBe an end-user expert on the current client’s platform Check more insights about the Product Owner position at Softjourn from your future colleague at this link: What Does a Product Owner Actually Do?
