Production and Process Engineer

Main responsibilities EHS Ensure full compliance with applicable Thai laws and regulations, Responsible Care (RC) requirements, IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO45001, Energy Management System requirements, and company standards. Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all production activities are conducted in accordance with EHS requirements, operating procedures, and company guidelines. Lead and support Process Safety Management (PSM) activities, including process risk assessment, Management of Change (MOC), and other applicable process safety programs. Promote safe operations, ensure adherence to EHS requirements, and support internal, external, customer, and certification audits. Process Management & Product Quality Manage and continuously optimize manufacturing processes to improve product quality, productivity, efficiency, reliability, and cost competitiveness. Establish, monitor, and optimize process parameters, operating conditions, and manufacturing procedures to ensure consistent product quality and process capability. Analyze production and process performance data to identify improvement opportunities and drive sustainable operational improvements. Lead root cause investigations for customer complaints, process deviations, quality issues, and operational failures, and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented. Track production performance and identify opportunities to improve throughput, reduce losses, minimize waste, and increase manufacturing efficiency. Coordinate with QC, Customization and others on rework management activities to ensure timely disposition and minimize business impact. Collaborate with Maintenance and Operations teams to improve equipment reliability, availability, and overall plant performance. Provide process engineering support for laboratory, quality, technical, and manufacturing improvement projects. APQP Lead production-related activities for new product introduction, product transfer, scale-up, and trial batches. Implement and maintain APQP requirements and related production documentation i.g. FMEA, Control plan, etc. Ensure manufacturing readiness and process capability for new product launches. Operational Excellence & CapEx Drive Continuous Improvement, Lean initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance. Monitor and improve plant KPIs related to quality, productivity, waste reduction, efficiency, and energy utilization. Identify, justify, and implement CapEx projects to enhance process capability, process safety, reliability, and operational performance. Documentation & Management Systems Maintain and standardize production procedures, work instructions, technical documentation, and APQP records. Support production-related purchasing, MOC, CapEx, asset management, and audit requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering. More than 3 years of experience in production engineering or operational excellence, preferably in the chemical industry. Good written and spoken English proficiency.
