Has good working knowledge in computer networks, database, Win/Linux OS security, web applications Bachelor's degree Computer Systems or related field. Exposure to or pursuit of certifications such as CISA, Security+, CEH, ITIL v4, or AZ-900 is an advantage, but not mandatory. Highly analytical, detail oriented, lifelong learner, solutions oriented. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to operate in a matrixed environment. Ability to articulate ideas and present them meaningfully in a verbal or written context. Should be able to establish good networking relationships with colleagues in own unit, within ITD, and in some cases, outside of ITD. Should be able to anticipate security risks or issues, provide recommendations to the supervisor on addressing those issues, or address the less complex ones Carries out work independently and proactively with minimal supervision or follow up Preferred Technical and Generalist Skills Graduates should ideally have exposure to or interest in some of the following areas. Proficiency in all is not required; openness to learning is key Technical Skills: Programming & Scripting: Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL Web & App Development: HTML/CSS, React, Angular, Node.js Data Analysis & Visualization: Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Python (Pandas, NumPy) Cloud Fundamentals: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud DevOps & Automation: Git, CI/CD pipelines, scripting tools IT Support Platforms: ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence Cybersecurity Fundamentals: Security awareness, threat management basics Agile Delivery: Scrum, Kanban, Agile practices Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows OS, and collaboration tools. Understanding of IT service management principles and basic project methodologies. 💼 How can you contribute to the team? Coordinating the security assurance activities, which consists in requesting evidence to verify compliance against approved security baselines. Coordinating, analyzing, and tracking the status of all external footprint security-related findings (brand protection, bug bounty, scorecard) and assisting in the closure of the significant findings in a reasonable amount of time Configure, create dashboards and integrations for observability solution (ie datadog), to ensure availability of Cybersecurity tools. Transform manual security operations through automated process flow by integrating security solutions via API and/or automation scripts. Review and coordinate user access to data and programs for both regular and privileged users; Assist in the development, update, or review of information security regulations and processes. Assist in writing business cases, PoC criteria and testing, and other related documents in support of identified IT security projects. Work Arrangement Full onsite (5x a week). Any hybrid or work-from-home arrangements will be subject to the discretion of the user units Work Schedule is from 8:00AM – 5:00PM Manila Time
