About the Role Macmahon Underground has a rare opportunity for an experienced Project Manager - Alternate to join our Underground leadership team. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-performing underground mining operations, leading and inspiring teams to execute large-scale projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Based on an 8 day on, 6 day off roster, FIFO from Perth, you will work alongside some of the most experienced leaders in underground mining while helping shape the future of Macmahon. Responsibilities Lead the safe, efficient, and profitable delivery of underground mining projects, ensuring performance targets are achieved. Oversee contract management processes to maximise financial performance while identifying and mitigating operational risks. Build and maintain effective client relationships, ensuring operational activities align with contract requirements and client expectations. Drive compliance with all underground mining legislation, safety standards, and company policies. Monitor project performance, budgets, forecasts, and KPIs, implementing corrective actions where required. Coordinate resources, personnel, and equipment to optimise productivity and project outcomes.
