Company : Allegheny Health Network Job Description : GENERAL OVERVIEW: This position supports construction and facility projects by maintaining AHN Signage Standards throughout new and existing AHN spaces. The role plans and coordinates informational, directional, and regulatory signage to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, brand alignment, and quality. Working with internal and external partners, this position maintains signage and wayfinding systems that help staff, patients, and visitors navigate AHN facilities, with a minimum of three days per week on-site at a hospital-based CRES office. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as the primary signage and wayfinding project liaison between CRES Project Management, consultants, vendors, facility leaders, end users, and jurisdictional authorities to ensure project expectations, roles, timelines, and deliverables are clearly understood. (20%) Manage signage scope from project initiation through closeout, including budgets, schedules, consultant coordination, vendor quotes, purchase order coordination, shop drawing review, installation oversight, and final as-built documentation. (15%) Review signage planning packages, site conditions, and project deliverables for accuracy, code compliance, AHN Signage Standards, brand alignment, and quality expectations. (15%) Coordinate with internal teams, including Interiors, CRES pillars, facilities, and project site support teams, to align signage placement, architectural wayfinding components, construction logistics, and project communications. (10%) Plan and manage small signage projects, hospital and clinic signage audits, and related improvement initiatives that enhance navigation, branding, staff support, patient experience, and visitor experience across the network. (10%) Maintain signage installation schedules, micro schedules, milestone tracking, and timely communication of risks, disruptions, shutdowns, fire risks, emergency response considerations, and egress impacts. (10%) Support process improvement by identifying opportunities to strengthen signage workflows, contributing to standard operating procedures, assisting with AHN Signage Playbook updates, and staying informed on industry trends and best practices. (10%) Demonstrate strong teamwork, accountability, reliability, leadership, and professionalism by participating in CRES meetings and events, building positive relationships, supporting shared objectives, and protecting CRES’s reputation. (10%) Other duties as assigned or requested. Q UALIFICATIONS: Required 2 years of experience with Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry Preferred Bachelors degree with Architecture, Engineering, Planning, Marketing, Communications SKILLS: Knowledge of signage manufacturing and wayfinding preferred Demonstrated experience with project management software, including e-Builder and Smartsheet Demonstrated experience with Adobe Suite; Illustrator preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Willingness and ability to learn new software applications Knowledge of ADA signage regulations and standards Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Strong team-oriented approach with a positive and collaborative work style; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines; ability to work on-site at least three days per week at a hospital-based CRES office.
