Project Operations Internship - Starting Summer 2027

Contract Type: 12-month Internship starting in August 2027 Location: Didsbury, Manchester Hours: Our people work a 37-hour week which includes a 3pm finish on Fridays. Please be aware successful candidates are required to commit to a 12-month, full time placement How can you make a difference? As a Project Operations Intern in our Projects function, you will support the projects team in planning, co-ordination, tracking and delivery of projects across the Nordex UK and Ireland region. This is a 12-month internship for a placement student who is looking to gain hands on experience in a busy project operations environment. What will you be doing? Supporting the projects team in project planning, scheduling and co-ordinating project activities Tracking project milestones Maintaining documentation and operational reports Co-ordinating meetings, preparing agendas and documenting actions Assisting in monitoring risks, issues and dependencies Preparing project status reports, dashboards and presentations Delivering projects and process improvements What are we looking for? You will either be: Studying a Business Management, Project Management or Operations Management related degree and be looking to undertake a placement as part of your degree A recent graduate with a Business Management, Project Management or Operations Management related degree who is looking for some work experience in this role. Other skills and behaviours required for this role include: Strong organisational and attention to detail skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills An understanding of Project Management methodologies Excellent written and verbal communication skills AI knowledge and how it can be used to improve efficiency High level of competency in using MS Office packages Ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines Positive attitude with a willingness to learn What we can offer you? Our assessment centres will take place in Manchester in December 2026.
