The Role We’re recruiting Class 2 (Cat C) drivers to carry out multi-drop deliveries from our Glasgow depot. You’ll be delivering bakery products to supermarkets and retail sites, completing 20–25 drops per shift. This is a hands-on driving role involving loading and unloading, using tail lifts and cages. What You’ll Be Doing Driving a Class 2 vehicle on planned routes Making multi-drop deliveries to stores Loading and unloading using cages / tail lift Completing vehicle checks and paperwork Working safely and following drivers’ hours and tachograph rules What You Need Full UK Class C (Cat C) licence Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card No more than 6 points (no DD/DR) Previous Class 2 or multi-drop experience preferred What’s On Offer Stable, full-time work Regular shifts and hours Pension scheme Health and wellbeing support Free on-site parking Ongoing CPC training and progression to Class 1 available (when roles are available) Why work for us and our benefits: At Hovis, we understand the importance of looking after our colleagues, so we provide a variety of benefits in addition to their salaries.
